  1. ahhh herb love herb

  2. The perennial herbs in this data base have a zone hardiness rating. If a range of zones, for example, zones 4-9, is indicated for the herb, that herb is known to be hardy in zones 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Suitable hardiness means a plant can be expected to grow in the zone's temperature extremes, as determined by the lowest average annual temperature. Annual herbs last only one season, therefore they do not have a zone rating.

Just click in your zipcode on this site to find your hardiness zone:

Then click on the first letter of the herb to access each herb you're interested in.

It'll give you the zone, photos, & info.

Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) is perennial in zones 3 to 7, where it is dormant in winter and grows during warmer months. In warmer areas, plants often remain green through winter (zones 8 and 9) but may fade out during the heat of high summer.
