Does anyone know a website that shows how to fix mountain bike brakes?

Question

I just bought a mountain bike from a second hand store. It is a 26" NEXT mens dual suspension bike looks like from walmart like new!! The back brakes rub really bad. I have been looking all over the net trying to find a site that shows how to fix these brakes but have had no luck. This has to be a bike that alot of ppl have. Anyone know? Or anyone have the manufacturer website? Looks like someone scratched off all the stickers on the bike I have and put their own on.

Visit the Bicycling website----they have a 'Bicycle Repair & Maintenance' book available (www.bicycling.com) ---it's a cool book and very useful!

Make sure your rim is not out of whack.  I assume you have cantilever brakes?!?  There is a little hex-head s***w on one side to balance out the spring tension.  If not, you may have to play with the cable between the two arms.
