I was recently checking my Chase credit card and i noticed a charge for almost $90, next to it it said it was for some company called Autovantage and te payment was for a 6 month membership. the thing is i don't even know about this company much less ever signing up for it! i went to their website and supposedly they're charging me for a 6 month membership which i could have cancelled after the first month, which i didn't even know about. How did they get my information in the first place?! Anyone heard of this?

  1. Looks like you are not alone.  Check out the other complaints at ripoffreport.com.  It looks as though they get people to cash a check in a small amount for a trial period or something like that, and then roll it over into monthly recurring building.  It may come in a credit card offer, which of course has your credit card information, or a service like AOL, which has it too.
