I know they do some pretty cool things to save the environment.  Would I join?  No, I am not that brave and there are other causes that are more pertinent to me at this point in my life.  If I won the lottery, maybe I might.  

I am always impressed by those folks out in a boat in the middle of the ocean blocking the big ship from whaling or something of that sort.  So brave!!

I know some Greenpeacers get arrested and I am too much of a rule follower for that!

I am a member of green peace. I have never had to chain myself to a tree, I did have a bakesale once to support the save the whales project.

I support green peace because they support a lot of the same causes I do,

Stopping climate change (global warming)

Preserving the oceans (including stopping whaling and bottom trawling)

Saving ancient forests

Peace and nuclear disarmament

Promoting sustainable agriculture

Eliminating toxic chemicals

Peoples main problem with Green Peace I have found is thinking they are too radical (chaining themselves to trees for example) that doesnt bother me, because personally I think someones got to get radical, the planet is falling apart, so im glad there is someone doing something about it.

I only do things for them occasionally, like donate money, or one time filled out a survey about what kind of fish was being sold at the grocery store (nothing too radical on my part). If you want to read more about the stuff they do check out there website, everything they do is for the good of the planet, so how bad can it really be.
