Does anyone know about Mark Price?

Looking at his stats, he seems like an amazing player. What's even more amazing is how he did that when he was supposedly "slow" and only 6'0 tall. Does anyone know why Mark Price was so good? I wasn't around to watch basketball in the 80s, but I want to play like Mark Price. How did he play? What made him so good?

Price was a 4-time all-star, a 2nd round pick by the Mavericks.

Being a 2nd Round Pick, and an all-star, better yet, 4-time all-star, that is quite amazing because over 30 guys went ahead of him.

Yes. He was a PG for the Cavs and He won the 3-Point Shootout in 1992 and 1993.

Mark Price is one of the most underrated players to ever play the game. He was the first coming of Steve Nash. Unfortunately he played in an Era of giants (I mean talent and greatness not height) and didn't get the recognition he deserved. In an Era with John Stockton, Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, Kevin Johnson, Dennis johnson, Mo Cheeks, Fat Lever, Michael Adams, Danny Ainge, A young athletic Kenny Smith, Tim Hardaway, Eric Sleep Floyd, Derek Harper... Those first 3 took most of the spotlight with the rest of the guys fighting for what was left. But they were all very very talented.

He is the Cavs 4th all time leader scorer, and 1st in assist and steals.

He was a great shooter, and he knew when to pass the ball considering Craig Ehlo was his back court mate for the majority of that. Had they kept Ron Harper his stats would have been higher.

Another thing he did well, which is a missing art. He made his free throws. He is one of the all time greats in that catagory.

The Cavs only problem during his tenure was, they couldn't get passed the Bulls.
