Subhan Chs, Near Four Bungalows Market, Versova, Andheri (W), Mumbai

    Phone 26289999, 26709999

Madras Café (tel. 022/2401-4419; Tues-Sun) in Matunga or A. Ramanayak Udipi Shri Krishna Boarding (Main Market Building, 1st floor, near Matunga Railway Station; tel. 022/2414-2422). The latter's authentic Madras-style meal is served on a banana leaf (Rs 60/$1.35), and you eat with your hands.
