Does anyone know about britsih hydroplane racing in the 160s?

Question

my grand used to race them all over the country. At danson park, bedfont lank and ,many many other sites. Just wanted to foind more information about them. I can not find a mention of hydroplanes at either lake in the uk. Does anyone have any pictures records about these

Other than the Budweiser boat, it's hard to find any kind of hydroplane racing, especially beore the 1980s.
