my fiancee and I are planning on getting married, we have decided we want to get married on a cruise, well actually on the beach while the cruise ports, has anyone ever done this and about how much would i expect to spend.

My oldest sister checked out getting married on a Celebrity cruise to Alaska. It was waaaay too expensive, she said. I think I remember her saying the prices started at $1500 and went up from there. Their cruise was expensive anyway, $2500 each with air. i checked it out for myself, $3000 with air, single supplement.

I am a "Destination Wedding Specialist".  I highly recommend that you consult one, so that they can help you make the best choice for this wonderful day.  Most cruise lines will work with an outside company to handle the details for you, whether you decide to marry at one of the ports, or on the ship.  The only cruise line that can actually perform a wedding, while at sea, is Princess Cruises.  Some of their ships also have a chapel onboard.

No, I have never done this but I have researched it for Royal Caribbean. They seem to have the best program and are a GREAT cruise line. The link is down below. They have lots of packages but I am not sure about how much. You'll have to do some reaserch. RC has a really easy site. Try the link below. Congratulations on your engagement! ps you can have the wedding on the ship in the chapel OR on an Island!

I have seen wedding done on board ship with princess cruise lines. They took care of everything, including the flowers. I saw this in ships chapel which you can see on line at princess.com. Click on ships and pick a ship then you can look at the live cams of the chapel. I had my wedding vows renewed and it was very special. Again this was on the ship. I haven't seen one yet being done at a port. That's all I know.
