Does anyone know about ear pain?

Ever since last night I have been having ear pain. It is not consistant but every so often it occurs. It is only on the right side and it feels like someone is poking my ear drum lightly with a needle. Does anyone know what it is from and why it is happening? Also, how to make it stop?

  1. It could be an infection

But I would get it checked out by a doctor

Or go to a pharmacy and ask for medication for ear pain

  2. Blow you nose while holding you nostiles. If you ear hurts worse, you have an inner ear infection.  Go see your doctor.

If you do not have body odor, you mostly have flakey ear wax.  There could be a flake that has disloged.  There is cleaning kit available at the drug store.

If you are a swimmer, you could have a bacterial infection.  go see your doc.

  3. WHAT'S THAT YOU SAY?

  4. Sounds like an inner ear infection. See your doctor and get anti-biotics

  5. I usually put hydrogen Proxide in my ear and lay flat to make my ear stop hurting.

  6. have you been swimming? if so, it could be swimmer's ear, or water in your ear. if you haven't been swimming, do you have sinus issues right now? if your nose is running, and your sinus is irritated, it can cause your ear to hurt too.

  7. Probably a mild ear infection, it should go away on it's own. But if you get to feeling feverish or the pain is severe, or it ruptures and leaks pus/blood out your ear, get to a doctor. (Even if it does rupture it's nothing to be alarmed about, it will probably actually relieve the pain but you might need antibiotics!!)

Get a cold and sinus medication to help drain the ear, Advil Cold and Sinus is my favourite cause it helps when my ear gets sore and doesn't make me drowsy.

Lay on the opposite side that hurts, so lay on your left side. Apply a heat pack to the outside of your right ear, heat soothes the pain :)

It should go away in time on its own.

  8. it sounds like you could be getting an ear infection.

whenever i get them it feels like a knife is going into my ear.

it isn't anything serious, but go to the doctor because they can put you on an antibiotic, and the problem will be cleared in about a week!

if your ear feels like there is a lot of pressure in it as well, you could just be getting a cold or any other sort of congestion because it can run into your ears.

or it could be swimmers ear. which you get from swimming often. this is easily cleared as well with ear drops from your doc.

no need to worry about it, though!

it isn't a big deal at all, and it doesn't seem like yours is bad.

P.S. if you don't want to see a doctor (which i don't suggest) the pain will probably get worse, but will clear in a week or so. it'll just take longer and more painful then if you get some medicine. also you may be risking your ear's health in the future and perhaps being diagnosed with something else although this is unlikely.

    :)

  9. My guess is it's either sinus or ear-wax related. My advice to you would be to wait another day to see if it gets better or worse, and if it's still there go see the doctor. Whether it's an infection or a blockage of your ear canal (neither thing is serious), the doctor can fix it.

  10. don't worrie if it get worse go to a docter

  11. webmd.com

  13. Sounds like an infection, probably a good idea to get it checked by a doctor.

  14. swimming latley? Maybe you have swimmers ear? Go to the doctor

  15. i used to get swimmers ear every summer from going swimming

and the pain feels just like that

sometimes my ear would swell up from the inside and it sounded like i was talking on a microphone

the doctor will give u ear drops tell u to take tylenol or motrin

and maybe take some sudafed (helps with sinus's)
