Does anyone know about estimating the weight of a flathead catfish?

I was fishing with my friends today in a pond and caught a 40 inch flathead catfish.Can anyone estimate how much it weighed?Thankyou.

I'll gues 30 to 40 lbs

I can't find a formula for catfish, maybe because their girth can alter the numbers to much... But I hear that most formula's are pretty far off.
