Does anyone know about farming equipment?

hi is a little vague i know but here goes, i have a piece of farming equipment i intend on selling and wanted to know as much as i could about it be for hand,as far as i know is called a gooseberry blower and was used to blow leaves from gooseberry's, is a large wooden structure about 6 feet tall by 7 feet wide has a big drum inside to put the fruit and cogs connected to a handle you turn by hand to spin the drum as was used by my father 40 years ago when he worked on the farm but this is all i know about it and I'm not even sure on the name, so any help would be truly grateful.

people in this part of the country use them as lawn ornaments. it"s condition will determine it"s price - 3 to 5 hundred. go to ksl.com  it is a popular free site covering several Western states, or put it up for bids on ebay

I have to agree with T, most of the old farm equipment is very popular as yard art, check with your local ag ext agent if you have one, they might be able to give you some back ground on what you have and how you might be able to sell it..  Good luck..    Looking at that old piece gives you a great respect on how hard your father worked, turning a hand cranked blower... Antique tractor shows are very popular nation wide.  Not only are tractors & their equipment shown, but also anything to do with what was used many years ago, whether it be household or barn.  Show it to your local live auctioneer, most are good at appraising a value.  Most won't charge you if you take it to him to see.  Good luck.
