Does anyone know about good insurance?

I am 24 and have never had any insurance on my own . I dont really know what it does or how it helps .All I know is I need it. Can anyone help me?

Sure, there are about a hundred basic different kinds of insurance. Which kind are you looking for?  Health?  Auto?  Renters?  Business?

In any case, you'll have to go to a local, independent agent, to get quotes, and have them explain it to you.
