  1. dont know maybe ....

  2. actually AD, the wild caraillie is never cooked, it usually grows about 2 inches and when it ripens the seeds are red and usually very sweet.  you dont eat the outside.

But normal caraillie is bitter and is really good for the blood.  I didnt know that there were tea bags, but the leaves can be boiled/simmered and made into 'tea'.

Tea is in quotes because it is used for cleansing/purification of the blood mainly, and not for normal drinking.

  3. ^^Carillie<<< daz how u spell it is a vegetable that grows on a vine... we trinis usually COOK it (dunno ppl does eat it raw like curious get ah meggie...lol...somebody make she eat ah ripe one)

we does cook it with saltfish and aloo<< it does lash!

me eh know abt no carille tea nah, mussy d leaf dey does boil an drink, i dunno nah

  4. Carille is a native vegetable which grows on a vine.  I have never eaten it, and I've heard its very bitter.

AS a kid I have tasted the small yellow one with red seeds!  that was sweet, but too much seeds!

I never knew you could make it into a tea!  What else!
