My friend's horse has head shaking syndrome that we assume was caused my heavy metal poisoning through over-vaccination. We were told that the freshwater, green algae, chlorella pyrenoidosa, helps to clear out mercury from the body. Does any one know where to get it? Also, how much to give? We would like to know as much as possible about it.

  1. I would definatley get a vet, any kind of poisoning in a horse is very dangerous and can lead to all types of disorders from respritory troubles, anaphylactic shock and even death, I looked in my vet book under medications and cannot find chlorella pyrenoidosa anywhere, i am going to look it up on the net because now i am very curious, i would only trust a vet for this question.
