  1. look it up on Dictionary.com, they'll tell you what it is, and then type it in Google and there are sites that explain to you what it is. Use some ideas from those sites, but do NOT plagiarize. Just get an idea.

  2. School library is probably your best bet

  3. Racial polarization is where one race is on one side and another is on the opposite side of an issue or economic situation. This is usually for artificial reasons or due to the influence of others. For instance, many qualified black people were not even considered for high paying skilled tradesman jobs during the 50s and 60s. This made some factory towns highly economically polarized- Most Whites enjoyed jobs at the factories and many had the higher paying skilled trade jobs. The Blacks were janitors or had the worst jobs available if any. As a result, the levels of opportunity, education and advancement were different thereby causing different growth rates between the two races.

Today, Racial polarization is mostly artificial plus it is becoming more rare- with the exception that many people are living the legacy of what went on decades ago. It almost always masks class polarization which is mostly what goes on now. Poor Whites and Poor Blacks are economical twins but are kept at odds with each other by the false screen of race.

As if Donald Trump and Bubba are more related than Bubba and Tyrone. This is why many poor White people vote Republican- therefore against their own interests.

  4. Polarization occurs when a minority group tries to be obviously different, and asks for rights that even the majority do not have. I respect any one who works, takes care of their family, and does the right thing around neighbors and the community. These groups also are often under educated, not by the system, but by their own attitudes.

  5. Racial polarization is the process whereby a population, the individuals of which have varying degrees of diversity in their ancestry, is divided into separate, and distinct (from each other) racial groups.

& you can probably get some books at your local library about the modern American economy. A good one is called 'The Growth of the American Economy". The authors last name is Bruchey. Here is a link to it on amazon.com

    http://www.amazon.com/Growth-Modern-Amer...

  6. Pick a point an work out from there.  Perhaps something about how housing in Chicago actually worked against economic growth for the African American community by lumping together th people who did not have economic wealth.  (That is to say, they would have been better if the housing provided for those on welfare had been scattered throughout the city, instead of lumped together into projects.)

By taking on one specific issue in a specific location, you will make your job infinitely easier. Ask your librarian to show you how to started on the research.
