Does anyone know about starting a website and making money selling ad space, in specific a blog/political site

I am interested in creating a political website, where I can express my views and create a forum where others can comment and a dialogue can take place. I want it to be more than just a regular blog. I know about google ad sense, which helps you sell space on your site for advertising. Does anyone have any information not only on how to get started, but also good ways to promote the site itself. Thank you

You could create a blog and express your view there. If you have a product you advertise on your blog site. To market it you need traffic. Just go to my blog and you find how to get tons of people to your site by blogging
