Does anyone know about the John Robert Powers School program?!?!?

I was selected out of 200 people to work with this agency. they want me to take the level 2 class which cost $3000 !!!! so is it a waste of money and time or is it something i really need to do.

Yes, it is a scam. Look them up online, for that matter look them up here. It is a complete waste of your time and more importantly money. You do not need to pay $3000 for a class. There are hundreds of theatre classes around that are legit and will charge you at most a couple hundred. John Robert Powers makes promises they can't keep and that is how they attempt to justify their absurdly high fees. This is a school and not even a good one at that.  I highly recommend you say thanks but no thanks to them. The only people who sign up with JRP are the gullible ones.

That's  A LOT of money! My brother did some of thse classes, but he didn't really wanna be an actor my parents just put him thru it... i don't know y??? But anyway if you truly have the passion for it & want to do it for a career than i say do it! I think it will pay-off in the long run.
