They win alot of SPL comps in the south and midwest, They are not the same quality as say a DD or T3 audio but you can run more of them cause they are cheaper ,so there is a trade off there , most are running 4 / with the Opti6000d

hitting on average in the low 150's

Lanzar is not the same as Lanzar Opti ,amps, subs, components ,etc.

They are a dual 1.2 ohm so that should put you in a 0.6 ohm DCR in parallel

It sounds as if the optidrive is not a bad beast.  Here is a discussion on the optidrive 15" sub.

However in comparisson to some other subs....they may not beat some of the higher end 15's....just depends on enclosure and specs etc.
