Does anyone know about the birth control plaster/patch?

You can stick on your arm and you don't need to swallow pills?

A friend told me and this I found interesting (my wife)

I dont expect an answer of SP (Lol)

  1. yes i red about this, and i am not sure what the name of the birth control is but pretty much they make a slit within your arm and it is so tiny and they insert this little thing, and then it will stay for a few years. it sounds like a good idea but i just would not get it because I hate needles , and there is no way i want someone making a small incision.  


  2. yeah there is a birth control patch but it doesnt go on your arm, it has to go around your stomach area. at least thats where my doctor told me it had to be placed.

    but yeah no pill taking if you are on the patch.

    edit: ahh and a bit of skiming over on that page i just posted i see my doctor was wrong and it didnt HAVE to go there.

  3. Hey there, i don't know much about the patch but I know about the injection, My girlfriend gets it every 3 months and she doesn't have the grief of periods while she's on it..

    If you think it's un-natural not to have periods, think back 1000's of years when women wouldn't have periods anyway because they were usually always pregnant,
