Does anyone know about the competitors for the 08 Kentucky Derby?

It's way too early to even say who will get in other than War Pass and a select few. It always comes down to earnings as to who gets to actually run... War Pass is in because of his BC Juvenile win last year.

The major prep races are just beginning. The Fountain of Youth is on Sunday, this is a huge one!

prep season is just starting so it's too early to tell who will run.

good horses are coming from everywhere but the GREAT one's will show in a few months.

watch for Pyro, Anak Nakal and War Pass.

Two horses that it does not mention are Majestic Warrior and J Be K.  Majestic Warrior won the Hopeful easily last year in what was supposed to be a 2 horse race between Ready's Image and Maimonides.  J Be K broke the Saratoga track record in his maiden outing.  Majestic Warrior has been out with an injury but has been working out and will return to racing soon.  J Be K ran in an allowance last week and won easily again.  If Majestic Warrior returns to form, he'll be a tough horse to beat in the Derby.  J Be K probably doesn't have the experience to win the Derby, but watch for him to turn into an amazing horse by summer time.
