i heard that too much radiation from cell phones can give you cancer. especially if a man has his cell phone around his belt all the time. does anyone have any proof or know of any websites about this?

  1. paranoia and stress also causes cancer as stressing out about radiation and cancer all the time will weaken your immune system and make you more likely to get cancer from it.

You can't escape radiation.. there's more radiation in household appliances, powerlines, even your own computer than there is coming off a cell phone

  2. Everything causes cancer.

The only way to avoid it is to lock yourself in a home all day in the country (as cities give off radiation) and never go outside eating breadsticks and drinking water all day.

  3. Here's an article about it:

  4. Despite extensive studies done the past ten years or more in European countries . . no one has been able to conclusively establish a direct link between cell phone use and cancer. The scare about it from the media comes from the unknown . . no one knows what causes cancer . . and so just about anything anyone can think up becomes the next mass hysteria. Basically, if it bothers you than just change your habits with cell phones . . don't use them . . but no concrete evidence exists to link brain tumors with a cell phone or any other type of cancer.

  5. cellphones vs. cancer causation is still very debatable according to 'experts'. you mentioned having a cellphone on your belt... if you are a male, the chances of getting cancer from a cellphone on your belt are VERY slim! You have a better chance of getting hit by a meteor. I have had testicular cancer, by the way. Don't sweat it.

  6. Cell phones cause cancer just as much as microwaves do.  Cancer by microwave? It sounds absolutely ridiculous but it can happen, it's just extremely rare. Look at how many people have cell phones and don't have cancer. I wouldn't worry about it.
