Does anyone know about the painted lines in parking lots that are very slippery when wet?

I am looking for the specifications of the material used and the slip resistant factor for the specific line used in parking lots of walmart and Target. I shattered may knee by slipping on the yellow lines in the rain and I was not runnning. I recovered but if I was elderly and broke a hip it could have been devastating. Now I am on a crusade to change the lines. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I do and you cannot do anything about them because they are used all over the world.........

one word...lawsuit.....i have used "sand paint " on my steps for same reasion...they could use it.

What are you asking exactly? It's just paint. They could add a friction material, but they don't last very long under use by autos. You're supposed to be careful. Good luck on your crusade. I would just call Wal Mart. You will find you are not the first to contact them about this. They'll probably offer you a coupon or something.
