Does anyone know about the work and pay?

Has anyone ever worked or know someone who has worked for the CIA, cause I was thinking about what the pay was like. I think I would actually like the job. I just want to know what the pay is like and what kind of work I would probably be doing.

My father, about whom I can't reveal very much, served in several interesting areas of government service.  Like him, you, if selected, will receive much in the way of excellent pay and benefits, and an unparalleled opportunity to serve your country and the American people.  You may be called on to have extraordinary courage and conviction in fulfilling your duties.  You may even be called upon to place your own life in jeopardy, but you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you have served your country and helped preserve its freedom.  May God bless you in your efforts to aid your country.
