  1. The only Vector I know of for sure, as one of my good friends works in it, is an Engineering company, based in N. California.

But there seems to be alot of Vectors when I googled it.

    Call and find out.

The link below is someone else's question on YA .... and that answers

  2. Greg Says,

You can look Vector up on the Better Business Bureau to see complaints. Otherwise to hold you over till something else comes up.

  3. the same happened to me. 99% chance its a job in sales. personally I didnt take a second look at it. not worth it.

  4. It's a pyramid scheme scam of sorts. That's what I got from it. There's a petition online to "STOP the Scamful ways of Vector Marketing and Cutco Cutlery. (check the petition site below)

Basically, from what I gather, they make you buy a set of knives from them and then you have to sell them to others (door to door). There are zero qualifications or requirements and they don't really get any info from you (no SS#, W-2 forms, just $135 or so for the "manager price"). Just from the letter, I was already suspicious. Didn't even give it second look the first time I got it (probably 2 years ago), but they sent it again so I decided to check it online and it only confirmed my suspicion.

Sure, just because there is some petition online that makes these claims and people signed it, that doesn't mean it's credible and that the company is a scam, but I wouldn't give them the benefit of the doubt.
