Its about Jesus leading his elect (sheep) and being accused of blasphemy by the jews for proclaiming hes the son of God.

Does anyone know a movie, book, or poem that has a similar story (not about jesus)? it can be fiction or nonfiction

  1. Braveheart comes to mind. It's not a perfect allusion, but William Wallace was a leader, initially accepted and followed and ultimately betrayed. Randall Wallace originally wrote the screenplay and then the novel based on it.

I'm drawing a blank, but I would suppose any movie or book featuring a leader/teacher who is later betrayed would fit to some degree. Even Ben-Hur by Lew Wallace would fit slightly, since Judah Ben-Hur is a leader (class wise) and is betrayed and then forgives which leads to his "resurrection," sort of speak.

I wish more would come to mind, but hopefully this will help a bit.
