  1. Probably shampoo that's not very smelly or alot of chemicals.

Be carefull and only put a little amount on.

  2. I use baby shampoo. It should be gentle enough for a cat..

  3. You don't really need to bathe her before using Advantage.  The Advantage will be enough to kill off the fleas.  But if your home is really infested and you want to give the cat a little immediate relief any mild human shampoo can be used on her.  Just avoid getting it into her eyes.  It won't kill all the fleas on her but may kill some.  Then fully dry her off and apply the Advantage.

I hope the flea spray that you bought is for your rugs and furniture.  Do NOT apply both Advantage AND a spray to your cat.  JUST use the Advantage.  You could make your cat VERY sick or even kill her if you combine/overdose on medications!

In the future buy Advantage online - MUCH cheaper.  I buy Frontline Plus for my dog and Advantage for my cats and save a fortune by buying it at 800petmeds.com.

  4. When I don't have any dog or cat shampoo, I use baby shampoo.  It works really well, and it usually doesn't have any harmful perfumes or chemicals in it.  Just use a small amount...

  5. I have 6 long haired cats, I have only ever had to bath them if they have got in a mess with a bad stomach.

I just used normal cheap shampoo. Would not use any shampoo that was expensive ( not because of the money side) its because it might be too rich for their coats. Try a light shower gel on a sponge first to see if that will clean the cat up without completely soaking the cat first.

  6. Herbal Essences

  7. I used regular shampoo.

Also I would recommend getting Capstar tablets.  You give then to you cat and the fleas on her start to die and fall off 30 minutes minutes later.
