Hay! I'm Simona and please, I really need solve for this problem if it's possible?

the problem is from book: Introduction to chemical engineering thermodynamics 4th edition 414/12.20

The excess Gibbs energy for a particular system is represented by GE/RT=Bx1x2 where B is a function of temperature only. Assuming the validity of Eq.(11.74), show that, at every temperature for whitch an azeotrope composition x(az) and azeotropic pressure p(az) are related by 1/〖x1〗^az =〖1+[(ln⁡(p^az/〖p1〗^sat))/(ln⁡(p^az/〖p2〗...

eq.(11.74)= y_i P=x_i γ_i 〖Pi〗^sat

Sory, but I can't write better an equations. If is possible I send you to mail my problem, just send mi your email and can we contact. Please.

And sory for my english, I am from Slovenia, and I need solve of this problem for a school.

  1. You're english is much better than my slovenian (or whatever you speak there) ;-)

I can't help you, but you might try putting this in a different yahoo category, like... well, I don't even know where it'd fit, but maybe under one of the sciences or engineering or chemistry.

    Good luck.
