  1. Go to the Kalahari

  2. Ok, ive been going to the dells every year since i was 3 and im 18 now so im pretty familiar with attractions in the Dells.  And i was just their about 2 weeks ago.  I would TOTALLY reconmend going to Mt. Olympus. Here are a few reasons:

    1. They have both an indoor water park/ theme park and an outdoor water/ theme park.  So if theirs bad weather you wont have to worry about not being able to do anything.

    2. They have attractions for everybody.  Roller coasters, go karts, 2 wave pools, many water slides, lazy river.

    3. If you stay at the resort then you get to use the whole park(its HUGE) for free.

Also, you can find discounts to many attractions at stands everywhere in the city.  Some attractions i reccomend are:

    1. The Dells Ducks.  They use to go into Lake Delton but since that flooded out they now use the Wisconsin River.

    2. Tommy Bartlett Show.  They use to do both land and water ski show but they to used Lake Delton so now its just a land show which is still pretty good.

    3. They have a magic show

    4. Tommy Bartlett Exploratory.  They have all hands on activities, very cool though.  People of all ages go their.  It has to do with science and they have robots that lead you throughout the whole place.  Very fun!

    5. Many stores to shop at too.

Well, I hope i could help.  You will have a blast trust me.  I go back every year and i never want to leave when i have to.  Have fun!

  3. I'd recommend picking up passes in the dells.  They have various specials.  And with all of the recent flooding I've heard they're hard up for business.  I highly recommend going to Noah's Ark.  You should be able to get discount passes in town (the Dells).  There are little shops set up every few blocks for such things.  Otherwise, most of the hotels in the dells have waterparks  and some of them give bogo tickets to some of hte water parks after paying for a night.  If you can find one, Bucky Books also have discount tickets for various Dells attractions and hotels.

  4. Hey!

Okay. First off. I would go to Wisconsin Dells. It is probobly your best bet with waterparks.

--- I would say that Noah's Ark waterpark has the best WATER ONLY rides. And its pretty affordable. If you want to buy tickets online.. theres the link that they give you right on the noahs ark site.   >>>>>> http://www.secure.instaticket.com/noahsa...

But otherwise if you buy right at the park i think its like 20-25-30 dollars, which isnt alot for all the wonderful attractions at the park.. Then you can stay at one of the many neighboring hotels. *I reccomend any hotels on the same side of the highway as the water park. The HWY is a hassle to cross *... http://www.noahsarkwaterpark.com/index.h...

---But honestly. I really LOVED the Wilderness. It isnt as affordable as the other ones. But it is worth every. single. penny. This park has like 7 different waterparks. Oh my gosh. My family went when the outdoor parks werent open and we still didnt get to see all of it. It was great fun.  My five year old nephew especially loved the water, the arcade, the huge ball thing (its like a huge jungle gym with aircannons that shoot out the soft foam balls). The hotel(s)/cabins are awsome. We stayed in one that had 2 stories, a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths one with a jacuzzi bath, a living room, washer dryer etc. Lets just say it was like a house. And that was the smallest one. But that gets pricy. For a cheaper option, you can stay right in the original Wilderness Hotel, which I reccomend because taking the shutlle bus when ever you want to go somewhere is a hassle But the resort...Is lovely.... http://www.wildernessresort.com/

----A third option...Mt Olympus water and theme park. It has roller coasters, indoor also. Waterparks, indoor too. It is fun but I didnt like it as much Im not much of a roller coaster person. But It is awsome for all you go-carting, rollercoaster, waterlide riding fun goers. It is fun fun fun... There is wavepools, waterslides, lazy rivers, roller coasters, assorted amusement rides (like you would see at a fair), go carts, and prolly more. This is also about the same price range as Noah's ark. You can choose to stay at the onsite hotel (treasure island.... i think) or stay at a neighboring hotel (again stay in a hotel on the same side of the road as the water park if you choose a different one.). Either way it is really really fun.

    __GENERAL FIRST TIME DELLS TIPS__

Plan ahead. Find out where you want to eat, when you want to do each activity, etc. Before you get there. It is much easier then getting there and playing it by ear.

Bring a cooler with food if you dont want to spend oobs of money on it. Because everything is expensive in the Dells. If your hotel does not have a continental breakfast, bring an easy breakfast but save room for that occasional "Oh lets go try some of that taffy" or whatever.

Set a few hours aside to walk the main street with all the shops. This is interesting and you can find some really neat stuff!!! (Wizard Quest is awsome, its like a giant scavenger hunt)

    Have FUN!!!!

Hope I helped you kind of decide on what oyu want to do... I was bored and needed something to do and this really occupied me for a while! GOOD LUCK

  5. There are a few...Riverview Park & Waterworld, Noah's Ark Family Park, Extreme World
