Does any one know of a cheap (lol) place I can take my cats to have them them spayed and neutered?????

I have 2 females, and 2 males....the are coming of age quickly. I could not get rid of the when they were tiny, so being an animal lover I decided to keep them. BUT these are all I want!!!! no more kittens!!!!!

I live in Canada, Toronto Area, Victoria Park, and Danforth Ave

I have no low income, poor working girl who wants to keep her kitties : )

  1. i live in australia, but i know that there is no such thing as a cheap vet.

talk to your chosen vet and explain your situation, if they are understanding enough they might be able to work out a payment plan of some description.

if you compare the cost of spaying your female cat to a human ovariohysterectomy it really is dirt cheap! lol, that's just another way of looking at it :)

good luck and i hope you get to keep your cats!

  2. Talk to your local cat rescue or SPCA for referrals to the proper agencies. I had a similar situation and found that while no vet will be cheap, there are many agencies that will provide vouchers for vet services (especially spaying and neutering as there goal is to reduce the unwanted pet population) and there are often low-cost spay/neuter clinics held throughout the year. Sometimes there are even vets that donate their time to give free shots. Unfortunately I live in Victoria BC so I can't help you with locations, but investigate and don't be afraid to ask agencies for help. When you explain you want to provide a home for these kittens (especially if you say you rescued them from the street) I'm confident you will find places to help you.
