I want to be an honorary consul for any country. I want to know if anyone knows of any country that hands out honorary consulship appointments easily and freely. Im a senior educator and have a multi-million dollar mansion in a celebrity infested area. I also have a PhD in Educational and Public Administration along with numerous certificates in International Relations. Would that make me qualified?

Well, usually you must have SOME tie to the desired country -- ancestry, property there, ties to current bigwigs.  But one never knows what a little money will do...  Start by contacting the smaller, poorer nations' D.C. Embassies, maybe you'll get a response.
