Hi I'm Chilean but I live in NY and I know about too much famous Chilean people such as:

Pablo Neruda: Chilean Poet, Literature Nobel prize (1971)

Gabriela Mistral: Chilean Poet, Literature Nobel Prize (1945)

Isabel Allende: Chilean writer, The most popular novelist from Iberoamerica and she is niece of Salvador Allende

Salvador Allende: President of Chile (1970-1973) he was abolished by Augusto Pinochet in September 11, 1973

Augusto Pinochet: President of Chile (1973-1990) he was a serviceman, politician and dictator

Michelle Bachelet:(2006-present) the first woman president of Chile and the first elected woman president of South America

Don Francisco: the most popular television host of Latin America and he is known for hosting the tv show Sábado Gigante in Miami
