Does anyone know any global volunteering opprotunities?

Question

I am 17 and I would love to travel abroad for a week or two this summer and help in orphanages or schools or something with children like that. I have been to the dominican republic 4 times on mission trips before, so I understand what I am getting myself into. I was hoping for the cheapest possible, maybe even an orginization that will pay for you to go or has scholarships. Any websites or orginizations that you know of, please let me know!

We are organizing a group to go to South Africa in July, 2008.  We will be working in the squatter camps in Soweto, just outside Johannesburg.  I guarantee it will change your life!!!

There is a listing of the more-than-30 member organizations of the International Volunteers Program Association (IVPA) that is a good place to find reputable volunteer-for-a-fee programs -- programs where you don't need to have much experience in order to participate, and the placements are just for a few weeks or months:
