Does anyone know any good, legitimate acting agencies near San Jose, CA? Is there such thing as a free agency?

I am interested in working in a television commerical and/or movie extra. I do not have any professional experience; however, this will be my fourth year of doing Speech and Debate at my high school and have gone to State Championships in Dramatic Interpretation (which is kind of like acting), as well as receiving first place awards at several tournaments.

There is no such thing as a free agency, but any reputable and respectable agency will not charge you ANYTHING upfront.  They take a percentage of your earnings from work that they get you - if you're asked for money before they find you work, it's a scam.

sorry your not gonna find any agencies there, the only place you will probably find an agency is in new york or hollywood.
