Does anyone know any good anime?

Question

I am already aware of Death Note and Haruhai Suzumiya, and I love both of them. But I'd like to broaden my horizons so does anyone have any suggestions on good anime?

fullmetal alchemist/ d.gray-man, bleach good but recently gets degraded b/c of filler, hellsing, naruto but ongoing fillers make it hard to watch

naruto (though it goes ON AND ON), uh.... tsubasa is pretty good and so is fruits basket, but that's more comical if you like that. And I'm a gunslinger girl fan, but that just ends when you still have alot of quiestions.

Trust me, Zero no Tsukaima is one of the best animes ever.

Claymore - insanely good stuff. Story is well thought through. Make u want more when the series end. But u have to like abit of gore for this series.

Konjiki gash bell -Funny and full of emotions. Makes u laugh and cry with the characters. Cute characters but don't be decieve by the character animation cause the story is first class. This is really an underdog.

Ninja scroll - One of the old epic anime.

Outlaw Star - An old anime. Good nonetheless.

Basilisk - Not too bad. A mature ninja/samurai anime. Something like ninja scroll.

Flame of Recca - Interesting anime but a shame the ending is rushed and cut short. Naruto/d gray man/Bleach type of animation style.

Some gundam series - Gundam MS 08 team/ Gundam 00.

OVA

Too many good OVA around, i'll just list some that comes to mind.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - This one really awesome. So much so they decided to have a 2d fighting game based on it. Creativity at it's finest here.

Grave of the FireFlies - If u dun cry like a baby by the end of this show pls go for a checkup to see if your heart is still in your body.

Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust - Solid graphics with cool vampires fighting scenes.What more can u ask for?

Blood the last vampire - This OVA is so so much better than Blood+.

If you love Death Note, you really should watch Code Geass.

Like what people have already said, but i am just repeating...

Its genius vs genius. It has unpredictable plot and unpredictability increases as the show progresses. Just really amazing. The neverending twists in plot per episode just makes the viewers crave for more.

**Naruto

In a concealed village, a young man hides within a bunch of leaves. His name is Uzumaki Naruto, a mischievous boy attending Ninja Academy.

Everyday, he does nothing but cause mischief and making Iruka-sensei mad. And above all, it's doubtful that he'll be able to graduate from the Academy. But Naruto has a dream... A dream that he'll become the head of the Ninja village, following Hokage and will become the best ninja around.

However, all the adults in the village give Naruto cold looks. The head of the academy, Mizuki, uses Naruto to steal the "Fuujin Scrolls" and makes Naruto understand his past. Naruto is outraged.

Even with Iruka's help, Naruto just barely defeats Mizuki. Knowing Naruto's secret, Iruka knows Naruto will meet someone who'll help him and so, makes a decision. Naruto is allowed to graduate safely from Ninja Academy. Along with his classmates, Uchiwa Sasuke and Haruno Sakura together, they make their first step as Ninjas!

**Fullmetal Alchemist

In this world, there exists people with special abilities to manipulate objects and transform one object into another. These people are known as alchemists. This process does come with a cost though, the basic law of alchemy states that to gain something you have to sacrifice something of the same value.

The main character is the famous alchemist Edward Elric - also known as the Fullmetal Alchemist - who almost lost his little brother, Alphonse, in an accident. Edward managed to contain his brother's soul in a large suit of armor. While he did manage to save his brother's life, he had to pay a great price himself.

To get back what they've lost, the brothers embark on a journey to find the Philosophers Stone that is said to amplify the powers of an alchemist enormously.
