Obviously, I'm not looking for perfect facts, as these likely don't exist, but all these secret societies fascinate me and I want to read more (the books aren't just to be limited to the Illuminati, I just primarily want to know about that one) Basically the book should contain the most widely accepted folk lore/urban legend type material and preferably each book should focus only on one secret society, or maybe limited at, oh, say 4. Unless of course it's four inches thick and tells every detail about every secret society ever. The target audience should be college aged to maybe a little bit older. Thanks!

  1. OMG!

    YES!

Angels and Demons by Dan Brown.

It's about a secret society--the illuminati--that set a bomb in the center of the Vatican city and a man, Robert Langon, has to find it before it blows up.

at the same time in the vatican, they are voting for a new pope. The illuminati takes some bishops and they set clues up in the city to where you can find the bishops.

Robert has to figure out the clues before each bishop starts to die, WHILE searching for the bomb AND keeping himself alive

VERY suspensfull! there's actually a movie coming out on it soon. so i sugest you read it first.

it's from the same writer who wrote The Da Vinci Code.

I think it's better than the Da Vinic Code.
