Does anyone know any good free advertisement techniques?

Question

Ive started up my own ebay style website (its only for pet products and 90% of the listing fee goes to animal charities)

the problem now is getting traffic. I have link exchanges with forums etc but i wondered if anyone knew of another good free way of getting traffic.

You can post your ad or get your own freeadboard. Also getting your own squidoo lens is helpful in getting traffic too.

Answer every single pet question on here and put your website in the source box.

Write five articles a day on your chosen subject. Submit them to all the articles directories and use your site as the source.

Write an ebook on your subject. Give it away free from your website.

Agreat way to advertise is to upgrade your internet experience and affiliate yourself with like minded people.

Here you can do classifieds, blogs, start groups, channels, rate websights, comments  etc etc.  It is pretty awesome and best of all free.  Its like having a notebook on your homepage and you can take notes as you go.  Lots of forums and clubs too all at your fingertips.
