Does anyone know any good places for freeganing?

ok, a freegan is someone who basicly goes dumpster diving for packaged food. the food is still good, stores just have to throw it out because there is too much, or it is ALMOST expired. its really good for the enviorment. some friends and i went the other day and the only thing we found was 6 bags of cheese its.

we went to stater brothers, albertsons, vons, rite aid and a few others and we couldnt find much.

In Toronto there are actually freegaining clubs.  You might find them listed on the net.

The key is to learn when they throw things out.  That way you canget there right after.  Vegetables etc. are commonly available.  Ask one of the empoyees if you find a nice one.
