I am Canadian of Italian origin and I lived in Milan for 2 years. The best places to shop are: Cso Buenos Aires, Via Torino has some nice little shops (I like the shoe store, Centro Stock). Also, on Saturday (and I believe also on Tuesday) there is one of the best clothing markets in Italy on Via Papiniano (green metro line). I highly recommend going. Sometimes you might not find anything, but it is worth a look. I have bought some really nice shoes there. There is no bargaining, it is all fixed prices (you may be able to bargain at the most 5 euros). I was in Milan again recently for work, and also discovered another market on Saturday at Via Fauche'. It was not bad either.

hi! I'm an italian girl from Milan, I can tell you that the best places to go shopping in Milan are: Via Torino, Corso Buenos Aires, Piazza Duomo and Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Via Monte Napoleone (high fashion street) and also ask for "zona Brera". these are streets very easy to find as everyone knows them!! If you want to go out by night to eat and drink and also go clubbing you'd better go to "Navigli" and there also these famous clubs to go to: Cafe' Atlantique, Just Cavalli, Borgo del Tempo Perso, Shocking, Karma, Beach Solaire.
