Does anyone know any good rivers to go tubing down near Orlando?

I was wondering if there was any good rivers to go tubing down near me in Orlando? I went to some when i was a little girl, but i can't remember them .Thanks

There are no rivers in Florida what so ever! And the ones that are are filled with gators! If you want good rivers and comfy family stuff go to Texas. The rivers near San Antono (( Guadalope)) are great and cheap!!

I'll bet you went to Kelly Park and Wekiwa Springs State Park in Apopka when you were little. It's just north of Orlando. Excellent tubing in both Kelly Park and Wekiwa Springs. Nice, slow ride, but these days, it's sometimes crowded.

There are several more great tubing spots further north of Orlando, but those two are the closest to you.

Admission: Adults and children $1, children under 5 are free.

Hours: Daily 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in summer; 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in winter

Location: To get there take I-4 in Orlando to State Road 434 make a right on Wekiwa Springs Rd. Follow it down and its on the right side.

Just go past Wekiwa and at the light make a right follow the road make another right and your there its about 5 miles. There are several stores near by if you forget something.

Take Rock Springs Road north from Apopka, then right onto Kelly Park Road and follow signs.

Tubes are not available in the park, so unless you take your own, stop at one of the tube rental shops near the park entrance. The cost is modest, about $3 for a day’s rental.
