I love the whole "Damsel in Distress" thing, so those kinda books would be good. But I'm open to other suggestions, too.

  1. if you want a little romance but with a mystery twist try some Elizabeth Chandler the books suck you in and you can't put them down until you're finished even though they're kinda short

  2. Anything written by Sarah Dessen, she's a young adult novelist but she she's amazing. I recommend This Lullaby and Lock & Key.

  3. The Captain's Castaway by Christine Scheel

The Secret Diary by Martha Kirkland

A Foreign Affair by Evelyn Richardson

  4. the twilight series they are the best four books i have ever read

  5. Helen of Troy by Margaret George.

    it's my most favorite book:)

  6. the notebook by nicholas sparks

  7. Have you read any Karen Kingsbury?  Her books go out an awful lot.  I haven't read anything from her, but she has a very loyal following.

You might like Jodi Picoult, try "My Sister's Keeper", an awesome book, not so much damsel in distress, but very thought provoking, sides to the issue you never thought to consider.

You will probably also like the author Debbie Macomber.  She has many books and a dedicated list of fans.  Her books might interest you.

    Good luck.

I forgot to mention  "The Glass Castle" by Jeanette Wells, non fiction, her story is bizarre and fascinating.  You will enjoy her book.

  8. I've always enjoyed Debbie Macomber's books.  Johanna Lyndsey has written many romance in different settings (regencey england, viking, old west).  Jude deveraux has also written some great books.  I liked the James River saga
