Does anyone know any good software to print a really big family tree on?

I have 863 names some going back to the 1300's. I am currently using microsoft excel. There is no way to print it though without taping papers together, and that looks tacky. Does anyone know a program or a company that would make it fit on one really really poster?

  1. http://www.rootsmagic.com/wallcharts.htm

    says

PrintMyChart.com is a full color printing service for RootsMagic users, with color prices much lower than you will find at your local copy center.

No more printing on 8.5" x 11" paper and taping them together.  Now you can print single sheet charts up to 42" wide by up to 100 feet long.

The downside is you'll have to send them a GEDCOM.

    http://www.tedpack.org/gedcom.html

has a page about converting Excel to GEDCOM, but it is not easy. You didn't ask, but you should move from Excel to a genealogy program before you get to much time invested in Excel.

There are at least three genealogy programs to consider in the USA. I love Roots Magic. Family Tree Maker is the market leader. PAF is free from the Mormons. Any one of them would be better than Excel. Just for instance, any one of them will tell you when you have mis-typed a birth, marriage or death date so badly that you have someone with those facts out of order. (Born in 1810 and died in "188" or "1188", for instance, instead of "1888"; in effect, "died" many years before born). Excel won't tell you that.
