  1. Spanish recipes are not specially spicy or hot, but some of them make extensive use of spices like paprika or black pepper... There is no way an spanish recipe will keep its original taste without using the right spices... So take no risk! Pick your choice and make a success!

  2. Saffron, Paprika, Black pepper and Garlic. Also cooking in olive oil will add a touch of authenticity.  

  3. My Mom is Spanish and the most common spices that she uses are paprika (sweet,mild and spicy) and saffron. And since Spain was under Moorish control for about 300 years, they use a of of Arab or MIddle Eastern spices and condiments as well.
