We bought one of those fisher price activity tables. thet can stand up and play with all of the little things that are on top. My daughter had a blast.

Walmart sells these little lawn mower things. He can use it for balance and it may help him learn to walk. And remember there is no better toy for a little one that loves to stand then the living room sofa! Good Luck and enjoy it while he's little!

Fisher Price Car. It sings to you, and the "windshield" doubles as a bar to help them stand and walk. The seat splits open so they can practice walking as well. Or try the Bounce and Spin Zebra. My daughter LOVES that toy. She got it for her first birthday and until recently, bounced with it by standing on the outside, that was until she learned to get on it.

How about one of those jumpers that hangs in a doorway? It strengthens his/her legs and they LOVE it.

if you can find them, they have these lawn mower looking things we used to call popcorn poppers.

it's like a push toy that pops up these little balls and makes noise when you push it.. plus no batteries/electricity.

since he loves to stand but probably can't walk yet you will want something that is sturdy to help him with his balance. we used a johnny jumper, exersaucer and a leap frog activity table with all three of ours. they loved them and they all help build muscle strength and provide support to a pre-walker.
