  1. You can look on PETA.Org and click on recipes. At the top type in pasta and click on search recipes. There are countless ones on there and if you eat dairy, just sub the soy products for the ones you like.

  2. l am a vegeterian and I love making this spaghetti dish

    sliced mushrooms (4 medium)

    chopped garlic (2-3)

    lemon zest

    1\4c lemon juice

    salt and pepper

1\2 pack of spinach and garlic spaghetti from Trader Joe's

    butter

    olive oil

um email me and i'll give u the rest

  3. I made up this one version of lasagna that's really good:

    - Olive Oil (to coat the pans)

    - 1 pkg. lasagna noodles

    - 1 jar Classico brand (or any brand) spaghetti sauce

    - 1 pkg. fresh baby spinach

    - 1 container ricotta cheese

    - 2 pkg. shredded mozerella (or however you spell it)

    - herbs and spices/ salt and pepper to taste (rosemary and basil are my favorites)

(makes 2 baking pans worth... halve for 1 pans worth)

It's pretty straight forward: cook the noodles, heat the sauce (add the spices to the sauce), and layer in pans accordingly:

    noodles, ricotta, sauce, mozerella

until it fills the pan approx. 1/2 inch below the edge of the pan. bake on 350 degrees until mozerella is slightly golden on top. enjoy! :P

    P.S. I'm a vegetarian and I love pasta.

  4. Intellect...Awareness...Conscience...

Nevertheless, if the current uptrend is continue (and other factors remain unchanged), 43.2% of world population  will be vegetarians by the year 2019. (Even some survey & researches predicted the figure would be much higher)

This is where the world is leading to.

  5. Wheat pasta OR Pasta Shells with butter/margarine (optional), garlic powder, and jolly green giant's baby vegetable medley.  Or grill some organic veggies!

  6. there are none.

  7. Get together garlic, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, chick peas, maybe some tomato and broccoli too. Start with some extra virgin olive oil and whatever type of long pasta you like, or some rice. I would also get some salt-free Mrs. Dash for seasoning. Good healthy stuff.

Start some water boiling, and add the pasta when it's starting to get a low boil going. Put a little olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Make sure it's enough so you'll be able to cook whatever portion of veggies you choose, but not much more, or it'll get too oily. Mince up your garlic, and put it in the oil, then cover while you start cutting up your other stuff. After the garlic has had it's way with the oil for at least 2-3 minutes, you can start adding other stuff. Add the seasoning at this point. I would add the peppers and onions first, because they need longer to cook, and wait a few minutes before adding anything else. Keep the pan covered except while stirring. Personally, I like my broccoli a little crunchy, so it's the last thing I add, but do it to your own taste. When it's all done, just dump the veggies onto your pasta. Yum!

  8. I am not sure if you eat dairy. If you do pasta, any shape. can be cooked and mixed with Ricotta cheese 1lb to 1lb of pasta. add to ricotta. 2 eggs, parsley. garlic powder. . layer pasta with sauce,, dot with scoops of ricotta mixture. top with grated cheese and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Ziti works the best, rigatoni is good as well. spinach is really good mixed into this but not necessary.

It seems you are sick of vegetables with your pasta but if that changes roasted eggplant, squash and peppers and tomatoes. are really good served over pasta.add several tablespoons of tomato paste to the liquid at the bottom of the pan juices half an hour before the vegetables are finished roasting. remember to season the vegetables with salt, pepper, garlic powder and coat them in good quality olive oil. bake at 400 for about an hour. Happy Eating

PS my new daughter in law is a vegetarian and although we eat very little meat I find it difficult to find things to cook for her. but she is worth it
