Does anyone know any good volleyball excercises??

trying out for 7th grade volleyball and i need to get in shape for volleyball! I weigh 115... do i need to loose weight??

  1. Some good excercise for volleyball are abdominal ones. Do sit-ups and bicycle crunches. Gives a more powerful shot. I dont know if you need to lose weight b/c I dont know your height, and body composition. Sounds about average to me though.


  2. id say lift some light weights, crunches, push ups, and just get used to hard work. and i weighed about that much when i was your age so sounds normal

  3. To improve your vertical: Jump Rope

    To improve Endurance: RUN!

    To make your body stronger: lift weights.

    CARDIO!

  4. youcan do box jumps, wall jumps, and sit ups. they are real ez and helped me lose weight. box jumps and wall jumps help your legs get stronger and make you jump higher to spike the ball. hope this helps.
