    more than just a holiday.

  2. www.ecoteer.com

the trouble with most voluntary work is that it costs you money to do it!!! these guys will find you free or cheap voluntary work, also with a reputable company any money goes to the right places and the work guaranteed.

  3. Try Voluntary Service Overseas - www.vso.org.uk/volunteering

They will provide accomodation, meal allowances, flights and insurance

  4. If you have money any of them will accept your help, if you don't they don't want you.

I have tried several times to go to various countries to volunteer, but the fees are very expensive. I didn't want payment for my time, I wanted to be able to muck in and help in any way I could only for bed and board, but never found one that would do it. You usually have to have at least £1000 plus fares, visas etc. I gave up in the end.
