  1. Check art museum websites:  the Tate in London (tate.org.uk), the Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

As mentioned already, a used book store may have old college text books.  The Renaissance would be covered in history books as well as fine art books.

  2. The Artcyclopedia is always my first stop when doing research. It provides great links and quality information. It has pages on all those artists you mention.

But also don't forget there is such a thing as a library. I'm sure  your local library can provide you with plenty of books on the Renaissance.

  3. # try on the following sites:

    www.stumbleupon.com/url/www.artcyclope...

    www.thegoodwebguide.co.uk

    www.familyfirst.com/artcyclopedia.html

    www.alexa.com/data/details/main/artcyc...

    www.education-world.com

    www.lightningfield.org

    www.lib.utulsa.edu/databases/descripti...

    www.bradfordschools.net/content/view

    www.learning.luton.gov.uk

    www.getty.edu/education/teacherartexch...

    ## and try at the libraries or at the old books shops from your city

    good luck to you
