The link below shows aquarium fish, tropical fish (warm water fish-w.w.f.) and even fresh and salt water aquariums. (and alot more info) it is helpful.

Tropical fish (w.w.f.) like guppies and tetras are easy to care for and are full of color. (make sure you either just get male or female guppies or else they'll breed like rabbits! Male guppies are brighter in color and have a pointed anal fin- females are dull in color (or do not have color on their bodies) and have a fan shaped anal fin.)

You can visit your local pet store that carry fish and ask.
