  4. ask the children 2 plant trees in d garden. or make toys with cotton

  5. Put some milk in a metal pie pan (like for a cheesecake) and add some drops of food coloring to it.  Have the kids use their fingers to make swirls.

Make dfferent colors of playdough, and have them mix some colors, to see hwat new colors they can make.

Take clothes pins and glue velcro to them.  Then glue velcro to a bunch of pom poms of all different colors.  Get a bunch of pom poms that are a bit bigger than the rest and put wiggly eyes on them.  Add a magnent to the back of the clothes pin.   Now the kids can pick their colors and make a caterpillar magnent.

use kool aide and pain with the tounge

clean out a junk drawer and buy some ceap canvases from walmart.  Have the children use the junk, glue, and paints to create a masterpeice.

drain some eggs, and cut the shell in half (have plenty of extras) and have them paint a face on the shells, then plant grass seed in them.  Their faces will grow hair.

Read the book, Where the Wild Things are, and have them use clay to mold their own monsters.

  6. check out lakeshorelearningmaterials.com  great site.

  7. blow up balloons. cover balloon with wool dipped in pvc glue watered down. criss cross the wool. let balloon dry (on top of a cup). when dry, prick balloon, you are left with a round ornament that you can hang up and hang little things in, too.

  8. mailboxcompanion.com - I get almost all of my ideas from there.

  9. go to www.kidssoup.com they have ideas

  10. Painting little terra cotta pots and letting them plant a flower in it. That's what I had my Daycare kids do for their mom's for Mother's day. They loved it!! I had a little 17 month old do one too for his mom. It was so sweet.
