Maybe the ones like your grandparents use to say

Ex=What's done in the dark will come to the light

Does anyone also know what this saying means:"What the eyes don't see the heart will not grieve."

  1. 'Tis better to light a candle than curse the darkness.

A harsh word never lightened a heavy burden.

Although the moon is closer to the earth, the sun is still farther away.

The pessimist wakes up and says "Good God ... morning." The optimist wakes up and says "Good morning, God."

One rotten apple can spoil the whole barrel.

As far as that saying goes, if, for example, you never looked at a girl, you'd never grieve about it because you never saw her. If you walk down the street and look in a shop window and see something you really want but can't afford, you'll grieve about it. Another way to say it is 'Ignorance is bliss." Keep in mind that ignorance is not the same as stupidity: I am ignorant about astrophysics because I never studied it. But I'm smart enough to LEARN something about. If I were STUPID, no amount of study would help.

  2. “ If you don’t know where your going.

Any road will take you there.”
